ADMISSION POLICY

Please be advised that our main intake into the school is in Grade RRR and Grade RR. Intake into Grade R to Grade
7 will only occur when vacancies become available.

Admissions criteria are as follows:
1. The completion of the Entrance Application Form and the payment of the non-refundable application fee
applicable
2. Our waitlist scores all applications as follows:
 Days between application date and birthdate of the child (the lower the better)
 Equal mix between boys and girls
 Special consideration is given to staff, siblings and past students/alumni
 Ensuring we maintain a diversified and multicultural mix of students
3. All applications are subject to fee payment verification by the previous schools attended
4. MyScienceKid College admissions office will request information regarding payment history and subsidies
in each instance.
5. MyScienceKid College may decide not to offer a place in the case of an adverse report
6. Learners seeking admission to Grades 1 to 7 are required to write the appropriate Grade entrance assessment
7. Acceptance thereafter will be at the discretion of the Head of School
8. Parents of learners in need of specialised assistance will be expected to meet with the Head of School
before admission is confirmed
9. Payment of a Non-Refundable Entrance Fee is required on confirmation of acceptance
10. MyScienceKid College reserves the right to choose its learners according to the schools
requirements
